Shipping
 
Shipping in Italy, San Marino and Vatican City is done by courier at the fixed cost of 10 Euro. Shipping costs in Europe is done by courier at the fixed cost of 20 Euro and outside of Europe at the fixed cost of 30 Euro. As requested by the law regulating commerce, all Principe shipments must be accompanied by an official invoice which declares the value of each single article in Euro. For sale items the invoice will show the discounted amounts.

Orders are shipped from Principe di Firenze, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Principe is not responsible for any eventual delay due to Customs control or owing to a cause beyond the control of Principe.
Once the availability of the merchandise has been confirmed and the banking data for new clients has been verified, those orders with articles available, will be processed within the first week day following the day the order was placed. Orders placed during the week-end will be processed the following Monday morning.

The credit card will be charged the day of shipping.
Shipping may require more time during the period of sales, promotions or when items are not immediately available. In all cases Principe reserves the right to postpone the shipment whenever extraordinary events happen. If there is a delay due to custom offices, the client will be directly contacted by the courier or by Principe.

Tracking shipment:
When the order is shipped, the Client will receive an e-mail message from Principe with a tracking number and a link to monitor the status of the shipment.


Consignment of orders:
When the merchandise arrives, the Client is kindly asked to carefully check the package and items before signing the receipt, as proof of consignment of the the shipment. If, for whatsoever reason, the package seems to have been tampered with, the Client is asked to sign the consignment document with reserve or otherwise refuse the consignment. If the consignment was accepted with a unauthorized signature or there is proof that the package was tampered with, the Client is asked to immediately report what has occurred to the courier and contact Principe.

All Clients who place an order establish a business relationship with Principe and are therefor obligated to accept the consignment of their package. If the package is not delivered for reasons depending on the Client (wrong address, continuous absence of addressee, wrong telephone number, etc.) or if the Client refuses the consignment – the shipping costs and eventual custom charges will be deducted from the refund due to the Client.


Shipping insurance:
Shipping by Principe is insured for free against theft and accidental damage. Once the shipment arrives at its destination, the insurance loses its validity.

Shipping time:

Italy – 3-4 working days

Europe – 4-5 working days

Outside Europe – 5-10 working days.


Product Return
If for whatever reason the Client is not satisfied with purchase, the items not worn can be returned for a different size or can be refunded within 7 days from the date that merchandise was received.

Instructions for Returning Items:

To obtain authorization for a refund, the Client must send a request to the following e-mail address: resi@principedifirenze.com. In the e-mail, the article code of the returned item must be specified and the choice of compensation – size change or refund. Once the request of refund has been received, Principe will send the Client a written confirmation including the Refund Authorization Number (R.A.N.).

The returned products must be shipped according to the instructions indicated in the e-mail AUTHORIZATION sent by Principe.

The Refund Authorization Number must be written on the way-bill, which must be filled out as indicated in the authorization e-mail received from the Customer Return Service (the way-bill will be given to the Client by the courier on collection of the package). The shipment of the returned item must be done within 14 days from the receipt.

The Client can choose between two types of compensation:


Size Change

It is possible to make a change only for a different size or for a different color of the same article, if available.

It is not possible to change the item with a different article.

Only one free change of merchandise is possible for each authorized return.

Refund

Once the returned item has been received and the verification and acceptance completed, the refund will be processed.

For the orders payed with a credit card, the refund amount will be available for the Client within about 10 days, and will however show up on the Client's next credit card statement.

The timing necessary can vary slightly according to the banking circuit of the credit card.

The refunds will be in the same currency as that of the original purchase.

Any differences in the amount due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate will not be refunded.


Terms and formality of returned goods:

- The security cord and tag on the items to be returned must not be broken or cut. The items must not have been worn, washed or altered and must not show any sign of usage.
Each item must be returned with all original tags, boxes and accessories (hangers, clothes protection bags etc.) received together with the order. All shoe wear and accessories must be returned together with the original box, which is considered to be to all effects part of the product and therefore must not be, in anyway, damaged and/or altered, nor used as exterior shipping container.

The returned goods have to be shipped back in Principe's original packaging.
If the Client receives defective merchandise, or if there proves to be errors in the shipping by Principe, it is requested that the Client follows the same instructions here above. Principe reserves the right to ask for photographic proof before authorizing return of defective merchandise and before taking on the shipping costs to bring back the merchandise.
Undergarments must be tried on over one's own undergarment. In the case that the transparent hygienic tag has been removed or if the item shows signs of use, the return of such items will be refused and send back to the Client.
Principe reserves the right to refuse returned goods not authorized, shipped through couriers different from those indicated in the e-mail with instructions regarding the return or those goods which are not in compliance with all the established conditions.

  • In these cases the merchandise will be returned to the sender at the original address.
