One of the most tormenting discussion among tailors of the past has been:

“To dress, not to cover”.

This has allowed us to understand that dressing oneself is a real true art and that it was represented by the wise and almost magic mixture of simple ingredients: the choice of the fabric, the tailoring cut and the desired comfort.

The choice of the fabrics, today as then, is one of the results which repeats itself in the “custom made” of the Principe of Florence, from cashmere to cool wool, from the everlasting Donegal tweeds to pilor – this is the history of an elegance, which together with discretion, has gone ahead.

But tailoring doesn't mean only this, it also means: taking measurements, trying on the suit, planning together with the tailor the use of the suit and its comfort up to the last details; these are all elements that make a suit yours!
